Penelitian ini mengevaluasi durabilitas dan kinerja pendinginan heat-reflective coatings (HRC) pada perkerasan jalan dalam mitigasi Urban Heat Island (UHI). HRC bekerja dengan meningkatkan albedo permukaan untuk memantulkan radiasi matahari dan mengurangi panas yang terserap, sehingga dapat menurunkan suhu permukaan secara signifikan. Evaluasi dilakukan pada berbagai kondisi permukaan baru, aging (menua), berdebu, dan basah untuk meniru kondisi nyata di lapangan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa semua HRC efektif menurunkan suhu perkerasan dibandingkan tanpa pelapis. Meskipun kondisi aging dan berdebu umumnya menurunkan efisiensi reflektif akibat degradasi permukaan atau penghambatan oleh debu , beberapa material seperti Becool dan Emulsi Akrilik Hijau justru menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi yang signifikan pada kondisi tersebut. Sebaliknya, pada kondisi basah, semua material pelapis menunjukkan peningkatan performa pendinginan yang konsisten, kemungkinan besar karena efek pendinginan evaporatif. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan material HRC yang tahan terhadap faktor lingkungan, serta strategi pemeliharaan rutin, menjadi krusial untuk efektivitas jangka panjang cool pavement dalam mitigasi
UHI.
