Railways have adapted to fulfil social demands, with a focus on reducing trip duration to improve economic efficiency. Passenger satisfaction is impacted by key elements like as comfort, punctuality, and safety, which play a vital role in promoting train travel. The complexity of rail demand is influenced by demographic characteristics, service levels, and external influences, all of which are crucial for formulating strategic business goals. This comprehensive study intended to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness and attractiveness of train travel by examining variations in demand, the level of satisfaction among passengers, and the quality of service provided by using linear regression analysis to assess the factors that influencing rail demand. The finding of this study highlights the importance of things: trip distance, trip time, gender, number of cars, work status, and trip purposes demonstrate statistically significant effects on the number of trips made. While group of age do not exhibit significant effects.
