Sektor ketenagalistrikan berperan penting dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi, kesejahteraan masyarakat, serta keberlanjutan layanan publik melalui penyediaan pasokan listrik yang andal. Dalam upaya mewujudkan hal tersebut, PT PLN (Persero) terus membangun infrastruktur ketenagalistrikan seperti pembangkit, transmisi, dan gardu induk, namun pelaksanaan konstruksi gardu induk masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, antara lain keterlambatan, pembengkakan biaya, dan lemahnya
koordinasi lintas disiplin, sehingga mendorong implementasi Building Information Modelling (BIM) pada proyek gardu induk sejak 2023 hingga 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi, menganalisis tantangan, dan merumuskan strategi dalam mendukung implementasi Building Information Modelling pada proyek gardu induk. Hasil penelitian diharapkan mampu memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk pengelolaan konstruksi yang lebih efisien, efektif, dan berkelanjutan
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji content validity untuk memvalidasi instrumen penelitian mengenai potensi, tantangan, dan strategi implementasi Building Information Modelling (BIM) pada konstruksi gardu induk PT PLN (Persero). Validasi dilakukan dengan melibatkan responden dari unsur pemilik proyek, konsultan, dan kontraktor untuk menilai relevansi setiap parameter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi BIM pada konstruksi gardu induk PT PLN (Persero) memiliki sejumlah potensi penting, namun masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan pada aspek teknis, organisasi, dan regulasi, sehingga diperlukan strategi implementasi yang terarah dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa pemetaan prioritas potensi, tantangan, dan strategi implementasi BIM dari perspektif pemilik proyek, konsultan, dan kontraktor. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan perluasan cakupan responden dan objek penelitian pada infrastruktur ketenagalistrikan lainnya agar hasil yang diperoleh semakin komprehensif.
