Pengaruh Durasi dan Intensitas Hujan Dengan Metode Stokastik Terhadap Kejenuhan Tanah di Area Dinding Galian Dalam: Simulasi Numerik dengan Skenario Genangan Air

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh durasi dan intensitas hujan terhadap profil kejenuhan tanah di area galian dalam. Metode stokastik Neyman-Scott Rectangular Pulses (NSRP) diterapkan untuk membangkitkan data hujan jam-jaman sebagai input beban hidrologis yang representatif. Data tersebut diintegrasikan ke dalam simulasi numerik dengan skenario genangan air (ponding) guna memodelkan respons infiltrasi pada tanah tak jenuh. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi durasi hujan panjang dan intensitas tinggi memicu transisi kondisi tanah dari tak jenuh menjadi jenuh, yang secara drastis mereduksi matric suction. Hilangnya tegangan geser tanah akibat peningkatan tekanan air pori ini terbukti meningkatkan tekanan tanah aktif secara signifikan di belakang dinding
galian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengabaian efek genangan dan variabilitas hujan stokastik dapat menyebabkan underestimasi terhadap risiko ketidakstabilan tanah pada pekerjaan galian di wilayah tropis.
